 The Lambretta Club of Australia formed in 2005 when some keen enthusiasts utilised the services of the Yahoo Group system (as the Melbourne Scooter Connection, Sydney City SC, Adelaide SC etc.). Thanks to the internet, the site has netted many other lambretta obsessives, bringing them together from across the land. Some current members are currently doing the groundwork necessary for formalising the club into a fully registered entity, with events, patches, etc. and all the benefits of a registered club.
